I assume you have system 7 on there?
Try holding down the SHIFT key at startup, that will turn of the extensions. i.e. screen saver loading and should get you in there to disable it

Succeeded with an iPod touch 2nd gen 8GB 4.2.1, took longer but Cydia actually installed this time. Tried with an iPod touch 4th gen 4.1, and loader doesn't load. All done with RC6 except the first one.

I honestly havnen't had good luck with the mac clients. I LOVE the GPU clients on regular PC's. There is just so much more PPD available with a GPU client.

yeah, i've had bad luck with the mac clients also. i would try the GPU clients, but my video card isn't supported.

Ive have 2 Lacie Porsche drives and they both seem great. One 80gb and one 250gb. If you are only planning to use the external for backup storage then i think the porsche would be perfect cause there is no fan. but if you plan on using the external for extensive rendering and etc. then the D2 would be better.

http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20050221082956959 had an article detailing how the trackpad vendor may have changed, and that the newer (1.5ghz +) PBs have slower trackpads, even when cranked up to the fastest setting.
I myself can notice the difference between the newer PBs and my old sony vaio trackpad. (The PB is much slower than I'd like).

got a 40gb ipod myself but the shuffle would be great as it only costs �99 for the 1gb version and i could afford to abuse it a bit more ! rather than protecting it to death like my ipod.

I simply use the process killer in SBSettings to kill the offending app, which takes away it's banner ad also. Is this whole wallpaper ads thing part of the iAds discussion? 'keep apps free' and all that?

I was wondering if I buy their 1tb 27" model, does it have the slot or for me to upgrade my own unit to an ssd later on in the future, I want to keep the SSD and the 1TB drive at the same time. or do I need to order it like that from apple?

awww..=\ yea i can see the drive in osx. do you know what happened to make my bootcamp error? cause it was working just fine for a couple months and suddenly when i turned on my computer again and chose my bootcamp partition it went to the black screen with the blinking cursor..

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

Pages is perfectly fine for word processing, which I know from experience as I been using it for that purpose every day for nearly two years. Most of the people who say otherwise either haven't learned to use it or would have preferred that Apple produce a Word clone. Some of are very happy that they did not go that route.

Office isn't even installed on my PowerBook anymore, and I've been using Pages and Keynote quite successfully on campus (where lots of classes and professors want lots of word and powerpoints all the time) for two semesters now and am glad I made the switch. I'm excited to hear about Lasso.

Google search for whichever ipsw you want. A number of websites post d/l links direct from apple's server.

It'll hopefully be announced before/during PMA (now Cliq) in the fall. Of course, they could announce D400/D4 instead. The D5100 is set to be the next camera announcement, though, so I wouldn't expect anything besides that (and maybe their mirrorless solution) before summer.

don't zoom in all the way.
