My I-485 was filed on Dec 1, 2006. I called USCIS and had info pass and they told me that my name check is not clear. I talked to one lawyer and he is going to charge me 3500 for WOM. He has pretty good success rate. I am reading forum where they say it is better to wait minimum 2 years. Has anyone heared any case where wom is filed after one year and it was successful. My priority date is current.

Hi Everyone,
Dont know if anyone thought about this or not.
I know so many people have switched their previous employer who actually filed for GC.
The employer also had the GC cost deducted from the employees salary.
Now my situation is the same.
I no longer work for the previous employer and my offer letter does say that employer will cover the cost of GC.
but what actually happened is something that happened with so many people.
Now since i dont work for that employer is it appropriate to ask the employer to reimburse me the GC cost as it was mentioned in the offer letter that employer will pay for the GC processing?
BTW.. my 485 is filed and i do have my EAD

What are the chances for ROW-EB2 to go backlog in OCT 2007. My wife's employer is filing for the LABOR this month. We are keeping our finger's crossed that it will be current in OCT this year.

That�s good. In addition to the evaluation, it doesn�t hurt to get a letter from the university to show that the degree is actually computer and mathematics related.

and the I-140 RFE was cleared in 2 days and got the approval today (per USCIS case status).

Has there been any updates on the combined EAD + AP document? After the disappointing Sept 2010 VB, this atleast will lessen the pain...
1) Combine EAD and AP into one document and issue for 3 years.
USCIS is in the process of developing a combination work authorization (EAD) and Advance Parole (AP) card. An announcement regarding this combination card will be made later this year.

then start selecting.
in the $1000 bracket there's some choice.
Personally, it's a tough space......, glad I am not making that decision.
for personal bias reasons, only the 350D or D70/50 are worth looking at.
Olympus makes nice gear, but in a newer format and has expensive accessories
